Alli and Justin’s Antioch Bible Church wedding in Johannesburg, South Africa was one of the most emotional I have ever witnessed. From Justin wiping away tears after seeing Alli walk down the aisle, to Grandpa Kirby’s prayer during the ceremony, to Neil’s gut-wrenching toast through the excitement of their rose-petal sendoff, Alli and Justin’s wedding was a rollercoaster of happiness, joy and awesomeness!
My favorite part of Alli and Justin’s Antioch Bible Church wedding was Neil’s best man speech. At one point, Neil paused. It was an extended dramatic pause. People were starting to wonder if he forgot his place. Then, Justin reached out and placed his hand on his baby brother’s back. And Neil began to cry an uncontrollable sob. At that moment, I knew exactly the type of husband Justin will be to Alli. He’s a role model. He knows when to extend a hand. He’s compassionate, respected and chivalrous. Undoubtedly, he will treat Alli with the utmost respect and grace. As the 400+ friends and family wiped away tears, all I could think about was how Alli and Justin are starting their marriage with an incredible community of support, love and encouragement.
