Carolyn and Cody’s Ultimate Skybox sunset wedding was one of the most emotional ceremonies I’ve ever witnessed. During the vows, Cody only get through about a 1/3 of what he wanted to say. He was so overwhelmed with emotion. It was incredible to hear. While Cody struggled through his vows, his brother Jacob placed a hand on his shoulder as his new wife and his new sister wept. Honestly, it was one of the most genuine wedding moments ever.
Carolyn and Cody have quite possibly the most random love story I’ve ever heard. During a brief break before he was stationed in San Diego for the Marines, Cody and his dad went on a cruise. Shortly after Carolyn graduated from undergrad, her and her mom celebrated by going on a cruise. The four of them were seated at the same table for all meals and a relationship was born. Quickly thereafter, Carolyn and Cody were inseparable and have been together ever since!
On their wedding day, there were multiple times when Carolyn and Cody danced together like nobody else was around. It was evident how much joy they bring to each other. Cody is one of the most gregarious people I’ve ever met. He made sure everyone had the correct directions and was buzzing around from one table to the next making sure everyone was enjoying themselves! Carolyn is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. With her adorable dimples and overall concern for everyone’s well-being, she’s such an amazing person. Then, you get her around her girls and she turns into this vibrant, booty-popping, blur of awesomeness! Together, they love others as much as they love each other.
Congratulations again on celebrating your lifelong commitment! Thank you for trusting me with your Ultimate Skybox sunset wedding!
