In our conversations leading up to #FronceUponATime, Tara kept warning me to prepare for a real rustic country wedding! I assured her that I’ve photographed numerous rustic country weddings in my day, but that I would be prepared for anything. Well, I gotta admit, Tara was right (which I assume she typically is all the time, right Blake?). At Tara and Blake’s amazing wedding, I experienced two wedding firsts…1) I learned how to open a barbwire fence (so that we could trespass) and 2) I stepped into a giant pile of cow poop. Somehow, in my previous 170+ weddings, I’ve never stepped in cow poop (or any other kind of livestock poop)! A country wedding experience unlike any other! =)
When I photographed Tara and Blake’s Attraction Session last year, they told me about how awkward they are in photos. Well, I think they will admit that they feel a bit more comfortable in front of the camera now because they are just so genuinely in love with each other! Their wedding day was absolutely amazing. Quite possibly, Tara and Blake had the most relaxed and laidback wedding that I have ever experienced. And I think that that is such a testament to Tara and Blake’s awesome personalities and relationship.
Congratulations again on celebrating your lifelong commitment! Thank you for trusting me with your wedding photography. Here are the preview images that I shared at your reception and I can’t wait to feature more of your wedding images and all of your wedding details in your full blog post! Happy honeymooning in Jamaica!
