Welcome to La Brisa Wedding Month! I am hoping to catch up on all the full wedding blog posts and today I am starting with Celeste and Dylan’s gorgeous wedding that I photographed in Crawfordsville, IN!

Prior to #CelesteGetsHerWings, I skyped with Celeste once and I never spoke to Dylan. My social media stalking was fruitless because Celeste doesn’t have a FB account. They didn’t need an Attraction Session and so when I arrived at the Martin Family Farm to meet Celeste, I was completely floored by her humility and graciousness. She is genuinely amazing. Immediately, I was struck by her flawless beauty. Yet, as Celeste excitedly told me about where to meet Dylan (thanks Chloe for the directions!), I realized that her giving nature and thoughtfulness overshadow her physical radiance. True story. Then, when I arrived at the Wallace Trap Club, Dylan was in the midst of shooting. He paused briefly, to say hello and immediately asked if I wanted to shoot as well. That’s when I knew that Celeste and Dylan are perfect together. They are both so thoughtful and considerate of others. And I could only imagine how they would be with each other.

Celeste and Dylan’s wedding was focused on faith, hope and love. Faithfulness to each other. Hope for their future as one body. And love for family and friends. Even though the humidity felt like 1000% that day, Celeste and Dylan’s joyfulness never wavered. Seriously, it felt like Houston in the middle of a heatwave with a chance of rain. You Houstonians know what I am talking about! I’ve never sweated through my dress shirt so many different times throughout a day. I still can’t believe the wedding party didn’t make fun of me the entire time for my splotchy and disgusting shirt…

From quite possibly the most emotional father-daughter first look that I’ve ever witnessed, to quite possibly the sweetest faux bride-groom first look to an evening full of celebration, this wedding was storybook. Relationships like Celeste and Dylan’s are what I love about photographing weddings. They completely embody the concept of Love Never Fails and I continue to feel incredibly humbled to be their wedding photographer!
