Tara and Blake’s Attraction Session that I photographed in Manhattan, KS is shared on the blog! I first met Tara when she was an intern at K-State’s Career and Employment Services where I used to work! Immediately I was struck by her humble beauty. She was stunning!
When Blake proposed to Tara, I privately hoped that she would contact me about her wedding photography because I knew that they would be an amazing relationship to photograph. Tara emailed me and I was overjoyed! We scheduled a sunrise Attraction Session during one of my trips back to Manhattan and I was entirely grateful that they trusted me enough to wake up super early! As with all couples, it took a little time for them to warm up in front of the camera. Maybe it was me. Maybe it was the cooler fall temperatures. Maybe it was making out in front of a complete stranger. Or maybe it was all of the above? Regardless, once the sun rose, everyone started warming up and awesomeness ensued! Their session was marked with first time experiences…getting photos taken at sunrise, riding a tandem bicycle, eating a Varsity Donut, sitting criss-cross applesauce next to each other, etc. With each new experience, Tara and Blake became more and more comfortable in front of the camera. By the end of the session, they were couple naturals and I absolutely love the way Tara looks at Blake. Tara possesses a soft natural smile and adorably, Blake makes her laugh with her entire body. They fit so well together!
Thank you again for trusting me with your photography! I hope you absolutely LOVE your images and I cannot wait to photograph your wedding next summer!
