Last Friday, I met up with an incredibly fun group of individuals who happen to love photography as much as I do. We shared photography tips, embarrassing stories, and photographed a stunning couple at sunset. Although the purpose of the Aspiring Photographer Workshop (APW) was for me to share some knowledge and hopefully help fellow photographers, this workshop ended up being exactly what *I* needed. I’ll admit, I was feeling overwhelmed when I pulled into the parking lot at the OPPD Arboretum. Consumed by my ever-growing to-do list and editing queue, the last thing I felt like doing was picking up my camera. I am so glad I did. The few hours that I spent with these photographers left me feeling inspired, focused, and recharged for my upcoming sessions. THANK YOU to everyone who attended. Friday was a fantastic reminder that it’s not about the art that we’re creating, but the people and the stories behind it.

Also, a HUGE shout out to our amazing models, Logan and Brodie! Thank you for being your adorable, laid-back selves in front of 10 cameras!
