Erin and Phil married earlier this year. Their plan is to continue working on their 1976 28 foot Airstream Argosy trailer, aka “The Bicentennial Falcon” and travel around the country while Erin photographs weddings and portraits session (Erin Evangeline Photography) and Phil writes. When I found out that we would both be in Phoenix, we collaborated on a romantic Airstream engagement style shoot!
I met Erin a few years ago. She’s a fantastically talented actress and photographer! Her and Phil have been working on their Airstream for a little longer than they had anticipated (gotta love projects, right?), but they are making progress! Their ceiling and bedroom are nearly finished. And I gotta admit, it looks absolutely incredible!
Together, Erin and Phil are phenomenally dynamic, fun and awesome. Phil makes Erin laugh with her entire body. Their combined energy is effusive and contagious. While some couples act that way during their honeymoon/newlywed period, I’m quite certain Erin and Phil have always been and will always be that way.
My favorite part of shooting Erin and Phil’s Airstream engagement style shoot was dedicating all of my focus on them. The lines of the unfinished Airstream created fantastic shapes and windows to frame Erin and Phil’s relationship. Erin possesses one of the most expressive smiles I’ve ever witnessed. Phil’s wry smile perfectly complements Erin’s. They are amazing together and after meeting them, you instantly want to be their friends while being slightly annoyed that couples like them actually exist. =)
