When I traveled to Lake Tahoe to photograph Jessica and Kyle’s incredible wedding, I was fortunate enough to connect with Danielle and Eduardo. They have an amazing love story and we met for a Sand Harbor Beach engagement type of shoot.
Danielle is attending college for English and she ultimately wants to be a fitness and nutrition expert. Follow her @lordello.danielle to see how she’s inspiring others with healthy eating and exercising! Eduardo is an engineer. His English is impeccable and he travels globally for his job. Oh, I forgot to mention that these newlyweds are from Brazil and have only been living in the US for 5 months. Though they did not have any wedding photos this session was their first time they’ve ever had professional photos!
Three years ago, at 3am (or maybe 4am) at a club, Danielle and Eduardo met for the first time. He didn’t think she was interested because she was already talking to some other guy. Then, as he was getting ready to leave, he took one parting glance at Danielle and noticed she had got rid of the other guy and was giving him the look. They danced and talked through sunrise and went to another party that night. Since then, they’ve been inseparable! From Salvador to Rio to Reno, they are building their future together.
Eduardo and Danielle kept telling me how they aren’t models. How they aren’t beautiful enough or skinny enough to be models. I’m hoping that you can help me convince them otherwise based on these images! They were incredibly trusting of me throughout their Attraction Session. At every opportunity, Eduardo complemented Danielle. He instilled confidence and constantly reassured her with love. Danielle is one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met. Her energy is infectious and she’s positively radiant. Their relationship was amazing to photograph.
The above image is one of my favorite silhouettes I’ve ever photographed. Danielle and Eduardo were standing on a small rock a decent distance away from the shore while I stood in the lake. By shooting at water level, the ripples in the foreground add texture and a beautiful reflection from the dusk colors. I love how the rock they were standing on blends with the mountains in the background. It looks like they are dancing on mountaintops!
Thank you again for trusting me with preserving your relationship! I hope you absolutely love your images and I can’t wait for you to visit Arizona in the winter! =)
