When Erica contacted me about her and Michael’s Jackson Hole wedding, I was overwhelmed with excitement for two reasons 1) I get to cross off Wyoming from my goal of shooting a wedding in all 50 states (18 more to go)! and 2) super pumped for the opportunity to visit the Grand Teton National Park for the first time! A huge thanks to Erica’s sister, Teresa, a fellow photographer, for referring Erica and Michael to me!
Erica and Michael’s Jackson Hole wedding (and/or elopement?) was absolutely phenomenal. From golfing to quality time with family to an incredible dinner with tear inducing toasts and hilarious stories, everything about their day was exactly what they wanted. This wedding was by far the smallest one I’ve ever photographed and I loved the intimacy and connection of it all.
The best aspect of Erica and Michael’s relationship is their happiness. Honestly, they smile a lot. They smile at each other. The smile individually. They are always smiling. When I first met Michael at the golf course, he greeted me with a huge smile that extended from one brim of his hat to the other. Later, when I met Erica, her hair was tousled and she had just started her makeup, yet all I could see was her jubilant smile. Together, they shine. With the love and encouragement from amazing family and friends, Erica and Michael will never be wanting for support through their journey of marriage!
Congratulations again on celebrating your lifelong commitment! Thank you for trusting me with your wedding photography.
