You may recognize Megan and Brandon. They’ve graced the blog a few times in the past, but probably most notably for when they modeled for an Introduction to Portrait Photography class that I taught two years ago. Well, these two weren’t modeling this time around because they are engaged! Megan has been a HUGE supporter of La Brisa and me since she attended Katie and Seth’s Aspiring Photographer Workshop three years ago! She’s referred numerous clients and I am incredibly grateful and appreciative for all of the love! When she contacted me about photographing her wedding, I was thrilled because I know her and Brandon’s wedding will be ridiculously awesome (mostly because Megan and Brandon are both ridiculous and awesome together, especially while partying)!
As a photographer and a graphic designer, I knew Megan would have ideas for locations and outfits. I definitely underestimated her vision because she exceeded my expectations. When selecting locations, I encourage my clients to think about places sentimental to them because I feel like those images are much more meaningful. Well, Megan went above and beyond! She wanted to go back to her roots for her and Brandon’s Attraction Session so we explored all around Chapman where Megan grew up on a farm. And I absolutely loved it!
Brandon and Megan are ridiculous together. Megan is one of the most hilarious people that I know. Brandon is super chill and he gets bonus points for keeping up with Megan. We were swarmed by mosquitos, were a bit inappropriate in front of Megan’s aunt, drove the wrong way on a one way street and trail blazed through a stunning wheat field. Through it all, Megan and Brandon were energetic, enthusiastic and amazing together. What I love the most about these two is how thoroughly they enjoy life together and yet don’t take it too seriously!
Congratulations again on your engagement and thank you so much for trusting me as your photographer! I am so ridiculously excited for your upcoming wedding!
