A few of your family members and friends shared their favorite Emma photograph…
“Emma’s photography captures more than simply pretty pictures. She has the unique ability to illustrate emotion. The images draw you in and allow you to experience the interaction as if you were their. This photo exemplifies this trait perfectly. I feel the love Ellen and Blaire share and I want to laugh right along with them. Emma is so talented and I can’t wait to see where her photography career goes from here.” ~ Jonathan York

“This is one of my favorite images of Emma’s because it shows me the way she can connect with her clients in an honest way. This image shows me that she can earn the trust of even the littlest of strangers. It also shows me that Emma has confidence to direct the seemingly un-direct-able. Not only that—but Emma has keen eye and appreciation for precious, gentle beauty which is seen so evidently here.
I’m so excited for this next step in Emma’s journey as a photographer! Best wishes my friend!” ~ Emma Wheatley
“This photo of Emma’s is my favorite because when she first posted teasers of this session it really got me looking into her work. I’d say this whole shoot was something I’d love to shoot, so it made me take notice. I had known of her and knew she was talented, but these amazing photographs initiated me reaching out to her. Since, we’ve become friends and I even was fortunate enough to photograph her and Jonathan in an incredible location. I’m so proud of her and excited for her and Jonathan to start this next chapter. Go Emma!” ~ Neal Dieker
“Emma, I’m so excited for you and I can’t wait to watch your photography grow even more! You have been so helpful to me and I loved learning from you this summer and seeing how God is using you in photography! I love this image that you got from Michaela and Jeff’s wedding; I think it shows a lot of what you want to capture when you shoot with the lighting and the true personality/emotion that you want to show. I know you’ll be great because you already are! :)” ~ Kristin Haverkamp
“This is one of my favorite sessions of Em’s because I feel like it really encompasses all that “Emma” truly is inside and out. I love her dearly.” ~ Mom
When I first met you at Meredith and Caleb’s wedding in January 2014, the conditions of our first time shooting together weren’t ideal. I was a bit disorganized and yet you swooped in with grace and confidence and helped me photograph a phenomenal wedding. Throughout that day, I was incredibly impressed with your perspectives, your all-or-nothing attitude and your dedication. Shortly thereafter, you agreed to join La Brisa and I was absolutely ecstatic.
A year and a half later, you contributed so much to La Brisa and to me. You embraced La Brisa as if it was your own business and I am grateful for your countless contributions! We traveled to so many places together for shoots and it was fantastic to develop our friendship through new experiences. I am incredibly proud of your work. Honestly, when I asked you to join La Brisa, I was surprised you accepted because you were already on your way to bigger and better opportunities. And that is why I am so thankful for your time and for your talents.
Of the thousands of images that you have photographed for La Brisa, this image from Richelle and Luke’s wedding is my favorite. I love this photo because I think it precisely describes you. The image is whimsical and candid. Your use of light is absolutely stunning and the playfulness of the subjects adds so much depth to the overall image. You inherently see things in a way that people truly cherish. Undoubtedly, this image embodies your lovely personality and your phenomenal photography.
You already know success, but I know a greater purpose is waiting for you in business and in life. I encourage you to keep pushing yourself to be better tomorrow than you are today because you will achieve greatly. Thank you again for being awesome and for everything that you’ve done for La Brisa and for me.
